Inclusive Art Therapy is delivered by Ellie Bortz

Ellie Bortz AThR

Ellie has a Masters Degree in Art Therapy (2024) and five years of experience supporting adults and seniors living with diverse health conditions, disabilities, and neurodivergent identities to engage in creative self-expression for improved wellbeing. 


Ellie's Art Therapy approach is person-centred, strengths-focused and disability, neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ affirming. 


As a professional member of ANZACATA Ellie partakes in ongoing training and supervision. She values and seeks out training delivered by experts with lived experiences of their training content. She has completed short courses in neurodiversity-affirming practice and Mindfulness for Practitioners.


In her work with neurodivergent individuals, and those living with chronic health conditions and disabilities, Ellie draws from her own lived experiences. Along her journey she has developed creative wellbeing tools to support personal insight, creative flow, mindful awareness, and compassionate practice.
